hydroponics. LIke all of our starter kits, this one comes with a

Although pricier than our CFL Starter Kit, you get better lighting and top of the line growing culture with our Metal Halide Starter Kit. For superior grows, nothing beats Metal Halide. In fact, this starter kit has the majority of the same growing components as the Grow Daddy Grow Box from Hydroponics Group.
There's one optional component to the Metal Halide Starter Kit that you might contemplate based on where you are planning to grow your crop. If odor may be a problem for you (and some crops get downright odiferous) then you should consider Hydroponics Group Odor Control solution. It's comprised of a huge exhaust fan, mounting flange and industrial strength carbon odor scrubber. While you're contemplating where you're going to place your Metal Halide Starter Kit, remember you need a space at least 2' x 4" to accommodate the included grow tent.

The supplied 48" x 23" x 50"h grow tent not only keeps the mess contained in case you spill nutrients, but it provides the light tight growing environment your plants need to bloom and bud . Its size also gives the plants some room to spread out a bit. The other big advantage with the grow tent is that it comes with pipes to hang your lights from. Since you need to keep raising your grow lights as the plants get bigger, we provide yo-yo light hangers with each starter kit. This device allows you to easily raise and lower your lights.
This kit is easy to setup in under an hour. Every two weeks you spend 15 minutes draining the reservoir (by using the water pump to flush out the reservoir water through the existing reservoir plumbing), and then refilling it with a fresh supply of nutrients.
Total cost for complete metal halide hydroponic starter kit system with one 400W metal halide bulb and ballast in our proprietary Cool Tube with built in inline fan, grow tent,, nutrients, water pump, mesh grow cups, growing medium, air pump, air stones (which slide right into slots on the bottom of your reservoir so they stay submerged, pH testing kit and all the ducting will cost you roughly $800.
